With reference to our Rules and Regulations, -all teams are required to send at least one member to attend the pre-race briefing. If none of the members is unable to attend, the team is required to send a representative accompanied with an authorization letter.
-Proof of Kayaking experience/Declaration Forms/Indemnity Forms are to brought-Payment to be made

Tomorrow is JC2s odac last activity in school... officially... lets make this the best and an enjoyable one.
Please be at the foyer at 2:15pm sharp in your attire (Punctually!)
Attire: ODAC orange FBT with PE shorts (For those without this please wear our dark blue odac polo tee)
Please have heavy breakfast... you won't have time to eat.... I know some of you don't have lunch break but its just one day... won't kill you.
Logistics people please be at the odac noticeboard (outside not inside) to pack and transport the logistics.

let's make it a good final one!

one last thing... JC1s... adventure singapore is a race that is duable (not really tough) so interested please register. ATC training for all, please orgainse yourself as a team... time is short... we can't have trainings altogether now...

Tomorrow that is 22 May Tuesday, please be at the foyer at 5pm sharp. No special attire needed. Just bring yourself and remember to read the proposal I send you all about the abseiling. Mdm Tetty will be briefing us about the abseiling and running the programme once more.

On wednesday 23 May please be at the foyer at 2:15pm sharp to prepare for abseiling.

go organise some skills training within your groups if possible.

dwayne's trg schedule is just never enough
especially when "comboed" with your busy schedule that made you all pon his trgs.
ya. so... just organise trgs among ur groups if u all really cannot make it for dwayne's.
to make up for missing his trgs. and also for ur makeups, please try to make it abt the same intensity as the originally scheduled trg.
it would be better if u all do extra.
just dun overexert yourselves, like me.
get enough rest. =D

it's only 3 weeks before the real thing.

MLG isn't working so I shall post some stuff here.

1) JC1 ODAC meeting on 16 May.
This is regards to the appointment of the next exco committee. Please be at the grandstand at 2:45pm sharp. If you can't come please inform me. There will be an interview conducted followed by an election of the shortlisted people by JC1 odac.

No training for JC2s due to prelims this friday.

2) JC2s, there is a last activity for all. On the 23 May we are conducting abseiling for the school (50 people). Be prepared for a short briefing on this next monday. In the meantime, I need volunteers to do up a PowerPoint for the history and theory by thursday. (Preferably those with experience.) Please inform me asap.

The 2nd generation steps aside.

Yes. Tomorrow marks the end of official training for most of us. The JC2s will be stepping down and the JC1s will continue the tradition from 23 May.

We started out as 21 strangers, now we are one big family. We have achieved a lot when we thought that we couldn't do it but we did.
Good things must come to an end and that time is coming.

latest info told me that at least half of the ODAC are involved in the sports heats.

by the way some of us have been missing ATC trgs as planned by dwayne cos u all have different commitments. so please do your own training, and those not involved in ATC are recommended to come as well to train with the rest. ya this is for your own good, as well as pumping in some encouragement for the ATC-ers. =)

as suggested by some of the ODAC members, this friday after ODAC we may be catching spiderman3 (most probably). ya. a form of odac bonding, please go for it if u are free... (I WAN THE MIDNIGHT SLOT!) so... do bring extra clothings (without school logos?) on that day... haha.

Kayaking 1 Star course

There will be a compulsory kayaking course for JC1 odac people without 1 star.
For JC1s/JC2s taking part in ATC, 1 star is a requirment.
Dates: 12 May, 19 May (2 Saturdays)
Venue: MacRitchie Reservoir
Fees: $40
(Can be paid by edusave provided if you submit the edusave form latest by this Wednesday 9 May)

Found this Nokia competition advertisement on TV. Decided to explore and it looks to me that it is an adventure race that requires taking pictures along the wat. From the webby, we're supposed to "Discover the Soul of Singapore" ( i think by taking a picture of it ). The prizes are v. attractive, top prize: 5k cash and 2 nokia n95s. Huh? why 2? Cos this time, unlike the 2 adventure races ODAC has participated, teams of 2 is required and not 4. So anyone want to apply to join?

Info: Event held on 26th May 2007 ( Sunday ), ( 4 Weeks from now )
Application to register closes on 13th May 2007 ( Sunday )
Participants must be 17 years old (at least)(as of 12 April 2007 midnight)
